Annual Turkey Drive

This year, the Nevada Painting Company hosted their Annual Turkey Donation Drive. With the help of our partner, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, we donated 50 turkeys to families in need within our community. As a local business, we know how important it is to support these families in need, families we have come to know and love.

For each paint job booked in November, a turkey was donated, and this is a tradition we want to continue annually to help where we can. Together, we can ensure those in our neighborhoods have one less thing to worry about this holiday season.

What is the drive?

When a paint job was booked in the month of November through the Nevada Painting Company, a turkey was donated to a family who could use a helping hand this holiday season. We believe that now more than ever, giving back can uplift the spirits of the community and our neighbors.

We couldn’t do it without you though! If you’ve been considering repainting your living room all year or wanting a new kitchen color for all the holiday cooking, your paint job contributed to the success of the drive, and the happiness of a family for Thanksgiving. While you get to check that newly painted room off your to-do list, you can know that you helped bring a meal to someone else’s table just in time for the holidays. You made the appointment, we took care of the rest.

Giving back to those in need

We can’t all be fortunate enough to enjoy a warm, home-cooked meal around the table with family during the holiday season. In addition, not every household budget is equipped for the pricey necessities of the Thanksgiving holiday, and that’s why we started our turkey donation drive.

The Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada provides food and shelter to the community. The Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is one of the largest nonprofit social service providers in the state, offering the most comprehensive range of human services. Catholic Charities includes diverse programs designed to give help, hope, and transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable men, women, and children in the Nevada community.

How can you help make our turkey donation a success?

Throughout the month of November, we made a significant difference for a neighboring family this holiday season with the help of you booking an appointment for one of our painting services. Not only will we provide meals for families in need, but we also remind them that regardless of the circumstances of this season, and the hardships of this year, there are still things to be thankful for.
